Tasks
- Conduct ecological and environmental impact studies
- Prepare environmental impact reports for industries, governments or the general public
- Conduct biostatistical data analysis using computer modelling techniques
- Perform administrative tasks
- Conduct experiments in plant or animal growth, heredity and breeding
- Plan and conduct studies of the environment, and of the population, distribution, structure and functional characteristics and behaviour of plants and animals
- Produce reports
- Study, identify and classify animal specimens
- Present the views of an association or organization to members, the media and the general public
- Organize conferences and meetings
- Prepare research papers, educational texts or articles
- Provide consulting services to government and other organizations
- Conduct interviews
