About New Workers

New Workers is a national job board designed to aid the vulnerable youth of Canada. These youths include immigrant youth, youth with disabilities, lone parent youth, youth who leave school without qualifications, indigenous youth, youth living in rural or remote areas, young ex-offenders and the youth from LGBT+ community. We offer a wide range of positions, including but not limited to summer-jobs, part-time, temporary work, internships, volunteers, and on-call positions.

The majority of the job vacancies on this website require little to no experience, no formal certificates, degrees, or licenses, and are available exclusively to vulnerable youth. Our goal is to connect these vulnerable individuals with opportunities to develop important transferable skills and gain valuable job experience. We hope this will allow them to more effectively transition into the Canadian labor market, or perhaps encourage them to go back to school.
